There is no cost to enter.)<\/p>\n<p>On each day from Sunday through Thursday, a daily winner is chosen from among the day&#8217;s entries, and announced on this site the following day.  Then one of those five photos is chosen as the weekly winner, and awarded the weekly prize of $50, in the form of an Amazon gift card.  The complete rules are <a href=\"https:\/\/luxumbraque.com\/-\/official-contest-rules\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This was originally conceived primarily as a travel-photography contest.  You&#8217;d travel somewhere and submit your best shots.  And that&#8217;s still part of the contest.<\/p>\n<p>But because not many people are traveling these days, two more types of photographs are especially encouraged:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <b>Photos from previous trips.<\/b> This could be a great way to re-live past experiences as you share them; and<\/li>\n<li> <b>Photos of what it&#8217;s like to stay at home.<\/b>  This could be anything, from a <a href=\"https:\/\/luxumbraque.com\/-\/2019\/01\/17\/the-number-one-way-to-spice-up-your-selfies\/\">selfie<\/a> to a view from your window, or anything else that represents your social distancing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There&#8217;s no cost to enter, so head over the <a href=\"https:\/\/luxumbraque.com\/-\/contest\/\">contest<\/a> page and show us what you&#8217;ve got!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The weekly photo contest is live!
