My backyard baby foxes are still here, and I’ve been spending my days watching them in wonder and delight. They are just too cute!
These canines seem to enjoy a complex and joyous family life: The kids play among themselves and explore, eagerly awaiting the return of their parents, when they get to spend quality family time together:

But it turns out the foxes inhabit disputed territory! A woodchuck also lays claim to their den:

So far, they’ve managed to work things out peaceably. But I wonder how long that will last:

In addition to writing and traveling the world lecturing about his books, Hoffman has also directed a dance troupe, taught darkroom technique, and explored Patagonia on horseback. From time to time he can be seen playing table tennis poorly at the WTCC. He lives just north of New York City.
