This is spectacular! The thumbnail doesn’t look like much, but when the image is enlarged its nuance and mood jump off the screen, practically calling out to the viewer: Where does the road go? Who is standing in it? And why?
So many photos show a perfect road moving toward perfecion. This seems both more immediate and yet also timeless.
Even the unusual balance, with so much light at the top and so much darkness at the bottom, works well here, with just the right hint of mountains in the background.
